a big-time mud and water slide begins gushing down a street. christie smith is live in daly city with all the dough tails. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you, jon. you know, the water flow has stopped this morning, but what an absolute mess out here in daly city this morning with mud and water. you can see this right here up the hill, though, the mud is actually measured in feet. crews are out here with vacuum trucks this morning and front loaders trying to clean it all up. higher up there is actually a slide on the hillside. you can see what happened after that water main break overnight on luzanne avenue. one firefighter told me there is a water storage facility up the hill but whether it's tied to this is still unclear. cars completely submerged past their tires in mud this morning. eight homes evacuated. people getting help from the red cross. 100 homes without water. what's going to happen for the rest of the afternoon is cleanup. still don't know what caused this all. jon, back to you. >> all right, tough going out there. thank you very much. we'll check in righ
upper 50s for palo land about zero. 59 and daly city and the satellite and radar picture shows a little bit of wet weather to the north. this system you can see is breaking apart and will not really impact as in the bay area. potential for a light rain and santa rosa but everywhere else will be drive. 7 day around the bay shows warming up with temperatures i could reach the '70s as we a closer to wednesday. sunny to mild conditions on tap with temperatures in the upper 60s and mid-60s for the cost. we're track the storm system that could bring some shattered sours on friday. saturday will be a dry one and later on that evening another storm system dropping in from the gulf of alaska could bring heavy rain on sunday. as the conditions as well and it looks like that system could impacter morning commute on monday. temperatures will be in the '60s but a little bit below the seasonal average. at 7:18 a.m. that is your weather. >> we have seen nothing in the way i have spot. we're seeing much lighter than usual traffic. a quick bridge check and ride to the bay bridge no delays here. neither
